Technology and Research Services Librarian

The Technology and Research Services Librarian will provide research, reference and information technical support to a diverse  group of patrons. Promotes and supports the use of educational technology to the [law school] community. This position will also provide software, hardware and technical support and training to faculty, staff and students of the College of Law. Assists network administrators in routine server and web site maintenance. And may provide instruction in legal research and computer skills depending upon qualifications.

The Successful Candidate will display the following Qualifications, Skills and Competencies:

  • Master’s degree in Library Science (MLS) from an ALA accredited institution.
  • Knowledge of basic computer hardware, software.
  • Knowledge of educational technology uses of audio/video equipment and virtual classrooms.
  • Excellent interpersonal, written and oral communication skills and the ability to work effectively with a wide range of constituencies in a diverse community.
  • Experience working in a library whether professionally, in a student internship, or on a volunteer basis.
