Research Systems Analyst OR Lead

Looking for an info pro to assist in managing e-resources, work with the firm’s intranet and partner with administrative teams and practice groups on other firmwide knowledge projects.
Depending on your skills and experience, we are open to hiring either a Research & Knowledge Systems Analyst or Research & Knowledge Systems Lead in this role. This is a hybrid position with an expectation of 1 day a week in the office and a few additional days on occasion to facilitate team building and/or depending on project and team needs.
While our preference is to hire in our Twin Cities office, we can be flexible for the right candidate. Either role is a great opportunity to grow your skills, engage in creative projects utilizing innovative technology and work with a collaborative team of fellow information professionals.
How Will You Make a Difference?
- Responsible for supporting technical services and e-resource functions of the Research & Knowledge Services department.
- Assist with scoping user requirements, evaluation, acquisition, implementation, and support of systems for legal, IP and business research and analytics
- Support usage monitoring, maintenance of and training logistics for the firm’s research systems, including those used for resource and request management
- Work with internal and external information providers to maintain service level support and install end-user research tools in line with firm objectives and practice group requirements
- Work with firm’s SharePoint developers to maintain information and integrations with firm intranet. Provide user support and training for content authors and others on team
The Research & Knowledge Systems Lead position will have additional responsibilities such as overseeing day-to-day work of the Technical Services Specialist and supporting members of the Submissions team.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Arts or Science and MSLIS, other relevant advanced degree or equivalent experience
- Experience with research services/systems in a Library, legal and/or Intellectual Priority setting.
- Knowledge of and experience supporting systems for research, request and resource management resources integral to research services and knowledge systems
- Experience with SharePoint and creating data visualizations in Excel, or tools such as Power BI
- Ability to work well within a team-oriented environment and contribute to effective team relationships
- Interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal) necessary to communicate with a diverse group of attorneys, clients, staff, and vendors with professionalism, courtesy and tact
